FREE PET TIP - Please remember... Don't take
your pets with you in the car unless you are taking them inside with you
to your arrival destination. Even parked in the shade with windows cracked, the inside of a car can reach 120 degrees in just minutes. The only way your pet can deal with the heat is to pant.... its
not enough to keep them cool! If your pet becomes overheated, immediately apply
cold towels or ice packs to your pet's head, neck and chest areas, or dampen the coat with water (room temperature).
If you see an animal in a car, CALL THE POLICE. Keeping your pet in a locked vehicle which is kept running
is indeed a better option. HOWEVER, you still run the risk of someone breaking a window and stealing not only your vehicle
but your precious pet
